IMPLEMENTED SOLUTION

Metropolitano de Lisboa has been an ACTUASYS client for over 20 years, having used several generations of software and terminals. Currently, the EXPERT Attendance solution is in place, supported by a Self-Service Portal for both employees and managers, streamlining the HR department’s task of processing and validating attendance data.

The solution is fully integrated with SAP, enabling automated data export for payroll processing and seamless synchronization of employee records, ensuring efficient and reliable management.

Attendance is recorded through TUX550 terminals equipped with RFID Desfire 4K EV3 and facial recognition technology.

For canteen management, the EXPERT Canteens solution ensures full transparency between the catering provider, employees, and Metropolitano de Lisboa. TUX910 terminals are used, and the Self-Service Portal allows for reservations, queries, and reporting.

A custom AppMetro was also developed for TUX550 terminals to meet the specific needs of the maintenance workshops, such as recording ongoing tasks and the use of critical tools like torque wrenches. This process is essential for quality certification and allows full traceability, with all information automatically integrated into SAP. Additionally, TUX550 terminals are installed in all stations for recording attendance, task progress, and security patrols.

MOTIVATION

Metropolitano de Lisboa sought a robust and stable solution to cover its entire station network. Beyond time tracking, the system needed to support employee identification in various operational contexts, such as task reporting and security rounds.

Due to the complexity of operations and varied shift patterns, the solution required the flexibility to handle advanced time management rules and deliver fast, accurate results.

A full integration with SAP was also a critical requirement, ensuring unified and efficient operation across all processes.
