We are seeking a motivated Junior Application Installation Technician to join our team. At Actuasys, we deliver intuitive time management and HR solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring our software runs smoothly in customer environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installing and configuring Actuasys applications on customer servers.
- Setting up and maintaining Windows Server, IIS, and required application services.
- Installing and configuring SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Node.js components.
- Managing configurations with PowerShell, DSC, and registry adjustments.
- Applying networking, firewall, and antivirus settings to ensure secure deployments.
- Analyzing application logs, Windows event logs, and performance indicators to troubleshoot and fix installation errors.
- Provisioning and maintaining virtual machines (in cloud providers or on bare metal servers) for test, staging, and production environments, including OS hardening and resource right-sizing.
- Providing post-installation support and guidance to customer IT teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration (IIS, services, networking).
- Some experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL installation.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- Understanding of basic networking and security practices.
- Exposure to a major cloud provider (preferably Azure) and basic VM provisioning (creating, sizing, snapshots, networking).
- Willingness to learn how to diagnose issues using logs, Event Viewer, and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Languages: Fluent in Portuguese; English is a plus.
- Experience level: Junior (up to 5 years).
